This is an appeal from a judgment awarding damages to the plaintiffs. Lorna Ballard was awarded $4,000 for past and future wage losses, $10,000 for past and future pain, suffering, and disability, and Lynn Ballard, her husband, was awarded $2,000 for the past, present, and future loss of services, society, and companionship of his wife. The defendant, Lumbermens Mutual Casualty Company, claims the amounts awarded are excessive, and following the trial Judges denial of motions to set aside the jurys damage awards as excessive has appealed.
